Jun 05, 2017: Mitsui O.S.K .Lines (MOL) has signed a coal transport contract with Thermal Powertech Corporation India Limited (TPCIL).
TPCIL owns and operates a 1,320-megawatt thermal power plant in SPSR Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. TPCIL is owned by Sembcorp Industries, a leading energy, water and marine group based in Singapore, and Gayatri Projects Limited, one of India's leading infrastructure development company. TPCIL is supplying electricity to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.
MOL's ocean shipping services will support the project by providing a stable supply of coal.
