October 11, 2017: According to an official statement released by the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI), the 44th ACAAI annual convention to be held in Bali has been cancelled.

As per the statement, “There have been numerous reports about the severe seismic activity and possible eruption of Mount Agung, resulting in the evacuation of almost 100,000 locals from Bali.

Since the situation in Bali is a natural disaster which is very volatile and is likely to continue for some time, considering the safety and security of the delegates and speakers, the Convention Committee has decided that it would be prudent to cancel the ACAAI Convention in November 2017.”
