Amazon to help export ‘Made in India’ goods worth Rs 70000 crore in 5 years: Jeff Bezos
January 16, 2020: The world’s richest person and founder of Amazon.in, Jeff Bezos announced that his company will help to export ‘Made in India’ products worth Rs 70000 crore in next five years during Amazon Smbhav, the on-going summit for micro, small and medium businesses(MSMBs), at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in New Delhi.
January 16, 2020: The world’s richest person and founder of Amazon.in, Jeff Bezos announced that his company will help to export ‘Made in India’ products worth Rs 70000 crore in next five years during Amazon Smbhav, the on-going summit for micro, small and medium businesses(MSMBs), at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in New Delhi.
He also announced that Amazon.in will be investing Rs 7000 crore more into the Indian market to help digitalising one crore small and medium businesses.

The 2-day summit (15-16 January) have more than 3500 SMBs, start-ups and micro-enterpreneurs, more than 70 logistics & tech partners attending and industry experts like NR Narayana Murthy (co-founder, Infosys), Kishore Biyani (founder & CEO , Future Group), Piyush Pandey (chief creative officer, Ogilvy India). The summit is aimed at attracting new sellers and partners for the online marketplace while competing with Walmart’s Flipkart and the upcoming e-marketplace of Reliance Industries.
