Ashish Pednekar takes over as President of FFFAI

September 23, 2017: Ashish Pednekar was installed as President of Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India (FFFAI) in a ceremony held in Mumbai yesterday. This is the first t, FFFAI witnessed installation ceremony took place at FFFAI. Pednekar will serve as President from 2017-2019. FFFAI is the apex body representing 5000 customs brokers across the country. In addition, organisation that is directly or indirectly connected with freight forwarding, shipping and commerce are also associated with FFFAI.

Welcoming Pednekar as the new President of FFFAI, Immediate Past President Samir Shah presented President Cup and floral bouquet to Pednekar. Shah served as President from 2015-2017.

Also present at the event were Deepak Kesarkar, Minister of State for Home (Rural), Finance and Planning, Government of Maharahstra; Gopal Shetty, Member of Parliament for Mumbai North; Vivek Johri, Chief Commissioner of Customs, Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House; S Anantha Krishnan, Commissioner of Customs (Export), Mumbai.
