Cargolux appoints Christoph Bannerman as VP corporate development & strategy

Oct 15, 2016: Christoph Michael Bannerman has been appointed as VP corporate development & strategy at Cargolux. Bannerman succeeds Maxim Strauss, who recently took over the position of EVP & CFO.

Bannerman has gained extensive experience in the aviation and logistics industry in a number of positions, including various roles in corporate strategy, alliances and marketing at the Lufthansa Group in Frankfurt and Singapore; as assistant to a member of the Executive Board of Lufthansa Group, Frankfurt and as Manager Sales Steering and Marketing Asia Pacific at Lufthansa Cargo, Singapore. Between 2010 and 2013, Bannerman was General Manager at Select Courier in Hong Kong, before moving back to Lufthansa Cargo in Singapore, first as Regional Head of Sales Steering and Marketing Asia Pacific and later as Regional Director South East Asia and Australia.

Bannerman is a German and holds degrees in Business Administration as well as a PhD in political science in Germany.
