DHL Express opens its first service center in Aurangabad
29 September, 2018: DHL Express recently inaugurated a new service center in Aurangabad. This marks the 14th facility established by DHL Express in Maharashtra. It is also the first international service provider to commence operations in Aurangabad.

Commenting on the inauguration of the facility, RS Subramanian, country manager, DHL Express India said, “Aurangabad is a burgeoning trade hub for start-ups and small and medium enterprises. Our new facility is poised for this growth and will help us facilitate seamless business for our customers, who can rely on us to reach international markets. This reaffirms our commitment towards being key trade enablers.”
Strategically located on Beed bypass, the new 2700 square feet facility will cover an area of 300 square kilometre surrounding key industrial hubs, including old and new Aurangabad, Chikalthana MIDC, Shendra MIDC, Chittegaon MIDC and Waluj MIDC. Customers will benefit from the service center by saving at least one day on overall shipment transit time.
The new facility will extend support to the strong manufacturing base and the prominent IT sector in the region along with industries such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, electronics and engineering.
The sustained expansion in Maharashtra is part of DHL Express’ €45 million investment committed towards the company’s infrastructure development in key industrial clusters across the country.
