Tiger Logistics launches CUBOX to tap India’s growing LCL market
Through CUBOX, the company aims to generate over INR 100 crore annually by targeting B2B markets in Western and Northern India.;
Tiger Logistics, a leading global logistics solutions provider in India, has introduced CUBOX, an innovative Less-than-Container Load (LCL) consolidation service. Designed to support freight forwarders and logistics companies, CUBOX offers a streamlined solution for LCL exports and imports. The service aims to address the growing demand for cost-effective and dependable international ocean freight, particularly in India's expanding LCL market, according to an official release from Tiger Logistics.
Tiger Logistics has established a dedicated team and a specialised office in New Delhi, including senior management professionals with extensive experience in LCL sales and operations. Through CUBOX, the company aims to achieve annual revenue exceeding INR 100 crore by targeting business-to-business (B2B) markets in Western and Northern India, with plans for further expansion into the South, mentions the official release.
“CUBOX will unlock new revenue streams, supporting Tiger Logistics' long-term growth trajectory and enhancing our competitive edge in the global logistics sector,” says Harpreet Singh Malhotra, CMD, Tiger Logistics.
As demand for flexible and cost-effective shipping solutions continues to rise, CUBOX seeks to bridge the gap between forwarders and shippers by offering efficient, consolidated freight options. Prioritising operational efficiency and an enhanced customer experience, CUBOX provides a smarter solution for shipping smaller volumes with optimised freight rates in the fragmented LCL market, which is currently dominated by a few key players, the release added.
“The LCL market offers a dynamic avenue for growth, and CUBOX is excited to seize this opportunity. As businesses increasingly seek tailored and efficient solutions, we are committed to leveraging our expertise to reshape the B2B international logistics landscape. This expansion not only enhances our service portfolio but also positions us to meet the evolving demands of the market, driving innovation and long-term success,” says, Kishan Chand, VP, Sales at CUBOX by Tiger Logistics.
India’s LCL market is growing rapidly but remains highly fragmented, with numerous smaller, unorganised players, while a few key companies dominate the sector. CUBOX aims to bridge this gap with a customer-centric, technology-driven approach to consolidation services, positioning itself as a dynamic and agile brand under the Tiger Logistics umbrella. By enhancing competition, transparency, and cost efficiency, CUBOX is set to capture a significant share of India’s LCL shipments, offering businesses a smarter and more reliable shipping solution, the release added.
“India's LCL market is primed for growth, driven by a growing demand for cost-effective and dependable shipping solutions. The dedicated team at CUBOX is strategically positioned to capitalise on this emerging opportunity, offering scalable, flexible Less-than-Container Load services that align with market needs. By leveraging operational efficiencies and driving cost optimisation, we plan to capture a sizeable market share in the Indian LCL market,” adds Malhotra.
In the longer term, Tiger Logistics plans to expand CUBOX's offerings with teams and offices across global destinations in the Middle East, LATAM (Latin America), and Africa.
