Dr. Ravi Prakash Mathur, a renowned supply chain expert, has been appointed as the Head of Global Freight and Projects at Apollo Tyres Ltd. This new role marks a significant milestone in Dr. Mathur's illustrious career, which spans over three decades.
As a highly respected supply chain professional, Dr. Mathur brings 30 years of experience in supply chain management, digital transformation, and global logistics. He has worked with several top-tier companies, including Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd., where he served as the Vice President of Supply Chain Management. Dr. Mathur's expertise includes handling global logistics, digital supply chain planning systems, and procurement. He has a proven track record in leading supply chain transformation and is a recipient of the "National Thought Leadership" award.

Dr. Mathur is a published author and has written several papers on supply chain management, which have been published in leading journals and institutions such as Harvard Business Publishing. His latest book, "Strategic Value Chains: Unlocking Business Success in the Digital Age," was launched at the Global Pharma Logistics Summit 2024. He is also a visiting faculty member at business schools and a member of academic boards.

He was recognised as one of India's Impactful Supply Chain Leaders by ET Now in 2024 and was among the "Top 25 Digitalist Thought Leaders of India" announced by SAP Ace Awards in 2015.
Dr. Mathur also holds several honorary positions, including Chair of the Academic Advisory Group at CII Institute of Logistics, Co-Chair of the Shipping & Logistics Committee at the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), and member of the national logistics committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). He serves as a mentor at T-Hub, Hyderabad, the world's largest technology incubator, where he guides startups in scaling their operations.
