Captain Raj K Malik is new ED of UDAN scheme at AAI

June 11, 2019: Captain Raj K Malik has been appointed as the executive director, regional connectivity scheme - UDAN at Airports Authority of India (AAI). He has 30 years of experience in the aviation sector.

As ED, Malik will be responsible for the effective and smooth implementation of the government of India's flagship scheme - UDAN which aims to provide air connectivity to currently under-served and un-served airports across the country. The scheme is aimed at promoting balanced regional growth and making flying affordable for masses.

Prior to being appointed ED, Malik served as general manager (security) at Corporate Headquarters (CHQ), HOD, security at IGI Airport, Indian Aviation Academy (IAA). He has also held the post of airport director, Srinagar International Airport in the past.
