TechEagle wins QDIC 2022 for 5G-based drone command & control system
TechEagle developed an innovative 5G-based command and control system over the cloud, enabling drones to be controlled virtually from anywhere in the world.
TechEagle, a Gurugram-based pioneer and leading drone delivery startup has been awarded as the winner of the Qualcomm Design in India Challenge (QDIC) 2022. TechEagle emerged as the winner among the selected few startups who received support, enabling them to develop innovative hardware solutions using Qualcomm’s robotic hardware platform.
This prestigious hardware startup incubation programme, launched in collaboration with NASSCOM and Startup India, attracted 145 applicants, with only 12 startups receiving incubation support.
TechEagle has developed a state-of-the-art 5G-based command and control system over the cloud, enabling drones to be controlled virtually from anywhere in the world. The company has also created a live video streaming service with no latency, ensuring that drone operators can have real-time visibility of their operations. This groundbreaking technology has the potential to revolutionise the drone industry, enabling drone operators to control fleets of drones remotely from a single location.
TechEagle plans to use this technology to spread its operations throughout the country and the world, with the potential to operate drone fleets via cloud-based systems. TechEagle will work relentlessly to further improve the product features and capabilities of this revolutionary system as QDIC alumni and with the team's extended assistance.
