CargoFL launches digital transport platform for Pune’s public transport

June 1, 2020: The artificial intelligence-driven technology company CargoFL went live with its Road Transport Management System (RTMS) for Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal (PMPML). The digital platform aims to digitalise bus transport functions, measure productivity variations and improve, automation of operations and stores and standardise processes for the public transport in Pune city.

PMPML has 10,000+ employees, 2000+ buses, 370+ bus routes, 20,000+ trips a day and carries 12 lakh+ passengers daily. Triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic, the digital transformation is expected to cut costs, bring in efficiency and business continuity plans for the public transport in Pune.
