April 17, 2019: The HACCP-certified Logistics Center in Prague Airport Park has received a temperature-controlled warehouse section offering ideal storage conditions for foodstuffs and perishables. The new warehouse section provides 1,800 pallet slots on 1,400 m at a temperature range of 2 to 8 C.

As of April 2019, cargo-partner's Logistics Center near Vclav Havel Airport in Prague has received a temperature-controlled warehouse section with a storage capacity of 1,400 m providing 1,800 pallet slots at a temperature range between 2 C and 8 C. With this warehouse, cargo-partner responds to the demands of its clients from the foodstuff and perishables industry in the country. The new warehouse section provides optimal storage conditions for milk, meat, baked goods, beverages, fruits and vegetables in primary packaging as well as all other goods requiring temperature-controlled storage.

The international transport and info-logistics provider had opened the new Logistics Center at the beginning of the year. The class A warehouse provides a storage area of 10,900 m with 1,200 m of bonded warehouse space and up to 11,000 pallet slots. The facility is equipped with 25 loading gates and has a clearance height of 10m as well as a floor load capacity of 5 t/m. The multi-user Logistics Center allows for cross-docking, vendor-managed inventory as well as comprehensive order fulfillment. Safety is assured by a fire sprinkler system as well as constant video surveillance.

The Logistics Center is located in Prague Airport Park - directly next to the Amazon Fulfillment Center and 15 minutes from the airport as well as from the city center. In addition to standard distribution services like container unloading, palletization, pick & pack and reverse logistics, cargo-partner provides a range of value added services at the new warehouse, including repacking, sorting, labeling, bundling, assembling, customs clearance and logistics consulting.

Stefan Krauter, CEO of cargo-partner, is confident that the new warehouse fulfills the needs of the company's clients in the region: "With this warehouse, we are responding to the demands of our customers from the Foodstuffs & Perishables industry in the country. The location in direct proximity to Prague Airport provides the ideal basis for national and international distribution and will help our customers make their business more efficient. As the next step, we will obtain IFS certification in July in order to confirm and secure our high quality and service standards."
