CSafe appoints Ravindra Rao as director of life science sales in India

October 6, 2021: The temperature-controlled container solutions provider for the air transport of pharmaceuticals, CSafe Global announced today that Ravindra Rao has officially joined the company as director of life science sales – India.

“Ravindra Rao will focus supporting new and existing customers across India as director of life science sales based in Bangalore,” reads the release.

Scott Garchar, CSafe Global senior director of life sciences – Asia Pacific, said, “Ravindra brings more than 25 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry in India and has a deep understanding of customer environments, workflows and business processes. He will be a tremendous resource and asset to CSafe customers across the country and we are thrilled to have him on board.”

Rao comes to CSafe from Cytiva (formerly GE-Life Sciences) where he served as the commercial general manager for south Asia managing business from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives. Prior to his 12 years with Cytiva, he held varying sales roles at companies such as Toshvin Analytical and Bio-Rad Laboratories India.
