DHL Global Forwarding launches myDHLi Quote & Book

May 28, 2019: DHL Global Forwarding has launched the myDHLi Quote & Book service that will be available in more than 60 countries at https://quote.mydhli.com. The service will allow their customers to compare freight quotations and make instant bookings, 24/7 for air and ocean freight and even for door-to-door shipments.

Users can directly compare available options, including DHL Ocean Connect LCL, DHL Air Connect and DHL Air Economy.

"Today, we launched the industry's most user-friendly online quotation and booking service. With this new service, we continue our digital transformation with the clear aspiration to become the leading global logistics provider. During the development of myDHLi Quote & Book, we listened to our customers' needs and improved upon our prior online tool. We added new features, increased coverage and implemented a highly intuitive user interface to achieve a simple and effective customer experience," commented Tim Scharwath, CEO DHL Global Forwarding, Freight.

The tool will allow two booking options - on DHL Air Connect with a delivery time of 3-5 days and on DHL Air Economy, that uses alternative carriers and routes to deliver in about 5-7 days.

DHL Global Forwarding will also offer an insurance option with myDHLi. Customers can calculate the insurance by selecting the transport mode and product and keying in the good's value.
