flydubai’s B737 lifts record 21,001 kg cargo from Kochi to Dubai

August 18, 2020: Dubai-based carrier uplifted its highest ever single-load of 21,001 kg cargo in the lower deck and cabin of a B737-800NG from Cochin International Airport (COK) to Dubai International Airport (DXB).

August 18, 2020: Dubai-based carrier flydubai uplifted its highest ever single-load of 21,001 kg cargo in the lower deck and cabin of a B737-800NG from Cochin International Airport (COK) to Dubai International Airport (DXB).

Mohammed Hassan, vice president, flydubai said in a LinkedIn post, “New breaking record. Our highest single-load in flight ever by carrying cargo in the belly and the cabin with the weight of 21,001 kgs on B737-800NG from COK to DXB. Excellent teamwork by our India team, ground handlers, airports and a big thanks to our customers. Job well done.”

flydubai Cargo has been maximizing its cargo capacity by transporting goods in the cargo hold on repatriation flights as well.
