Gati-KWE upgrades logistics services for SMEs with customised solutions

April 26, 2021: Gati-KWE, the express logistics firm and an Allcargo Group company, has upgraded its logistics solutions for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by integrating customised and solutions-based offerings.

The offerings include technologically advanced domestic air and surface logistics solutions, deferred service offerings for companies with low bandwidth of last-mile distribution spend but are willing to compromise on TAT and tech-enabled multi-location pickup services which can be accessed through Genie, a WhatsApp chatbot (+91 74000 12000) offering instant assistance or customer portal on GatiKWE.com for SMEs catering to multi-brand outlets (MBOs).

There are approximately 55 million registered and unregistered MSME units, constituting 95 percent of the total industrial units in the country. SMEs employ about 120 million (1.2 crore) people i.e. 42 percent of India’s workforce, contributing 45 percent of the total manufacturing output. SMEs also contribute approximately 48 percent of exports.

Gati-KWE aims to enhance revenue share/business contribution from SME segments from 30 percent to 50 percent in the next two years banking on differentiated service offerings, strong digital initiatives such as chatbot, AP integrations, automation, etc. The company is also intensifying its reach among SMEs in metros as well as in tier-2 and 3 cities.
