IAG Cargo to start additional B777 cargo-only service to BLR from Aug 9

August 3, 2020: IAG Cargo has updated its cargo-only operations with an additional service to Bengaluru International Airport starting on August 9, 2020, with its Boing 777 aircraft on every Saturday and returns to London Heathrow Airport on Sunday.

The carrier%u2019s B777 flies to and from Mumbai daily, while its B787 lands in Delhi four times a week and three times in Hyderabad.

August 3, 2020: IAG Cargo has updated its cargo-only operations with an additional service to Bengaluru International Airport starting on August 9, 2020, with its Boeing 777 aircraft on every Saturday which returns to London Heathrow Airport on Sunday.

IAG Cargo, with its inbound flight number BA1119 and outbound BA1118, is already operating three cargo-only B777 services to Bengaluru on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, as per the service updates.

The carrier’s B777 flies to and from Mumbai daily, while its B787 lands in Delhi four times a week and three times in Hyderabad. All Asian services of the carrier are operated by British Airways aircraft.

Revenue increase vs volume drop
In its recent financial announcement, IAG Cargo reported a revenue increase of 33.1 percent in April to June quarter compared to the same period in 2019 against 51.2 percent drop in volume.

On July 9, IAG Cargo had completed its 100th cargo-only flight out of India. To maximise capacity, IAG Cargo has been operating cargo-only flights out of the country since May 2020 in response to Covid-19 pandemic.
