India extends ban on all domestic, international flights and trains till May 3
April 14, 2020: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the extension of lockdown till May 3, 2020, due to increasing number of Covid-19 infections; Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) extended all domestic and international flights till 18.30 hrs GMT of May 3.
April 14, 2020: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the extension of lockdown till May 3, 2020, due to increasing number of Covid-19 infections; Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) extended all domestic and international flights till 18.30 hrs GMT of May 3.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Railway also extended the suspension of passenger services till May 3. However, both DGCA and Indian Railways reconfirmed that the cargo operations are not included and will move unhindered.
