JDA appoints Umesh Gaur as India MD and Vinok Sequeira as SVP for Asia-Pacific

December 7, 2019: The AI-based supply chain management platform provider based in the US announced the appointment of Umesh Gaur as managing director of JDA’s Centers of Excellence (CoE) in India and Vinok Sequeira as senior vice president (SVP), associate success for the Asia-Pacific region including the India CoEs.

December 7, 2019: The AI-based supply chain management platform provider based in the US announced the appointment of Umesh Gaur as managing director of JDA’s Centers of Excellence (CoE) in India and Vinok Sequeira as senior vice president (SVP), associate success for the Asia-Pacific region including the India CoEs.

JDA Software provides AI-driven supply chain management (SCM) platform. The solutions include supply chain and retail planning, execution, delivery and workforce management.

In his new role, Gaur will be leading the two CoEs in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, and continue to be interacting with regional customers for delivery and implementation.

Umesh Gaur began his career at JDA in 2000 as a director in the consulting function and moved up into various leadership roles including vice president and group vice president of Global Consulting Delivery. With domain expertise in the supply chain, Gaur has led many projects. Over the last decade, he has been into next-generation architects and consultants to lead and design the future supply chain in the world of data science, cognitive and machine learning.
In his new role as SVP, associate success for the Asia-Pacific region and India CoEs, Vinok Sequeira will be responsible for aligning the associate success team in APAC with the marketing and sales force in the field, customer success teams working with its’ customers and product development teams.

Sequeira started his career at JDA in 1997 and has been into the building of CoEs in the region. He is leading the company in hiring, engaging and developing supply chain talent. Sequeira has grown in his career within the organization over a period of 22 years.

Not only has he managed his HR responsibilities effectively but has provided broad leadership to the India CoEs, facilitated cross-functional collaboration and championed a deep community engagement program.”

The two CoEs in India include 2,500 associates, responsible for delivering revenue growth to its customers
