July 8, 2019: Digital freight execution platform Kontainers has joined supply chain connectivity platform Chain.io. The move brings enhanced TMS (transportation management system) integration to both new and existing clients, providing a more seamless digital freight experience.

The Kontainers-Chain.io integration layer allows freight forwarders to integrate all major Kontainers features including automated quotation, booking, and tracking with their TMS platform of choice.

"We're excited to have Kontainers onboard," said Brian Glick, Chain.io's CEO.

Chain.io specialises in blockchain, as well as complex client integration. Their fully managed integration services allow logistics service providers, shippers, and technology firms to work together more efficiently under one umbrella.

"Existing Chain.io customers will benefit by having a great option for digitising their customer experience and Kontainers' customers benefit from a smooth and efficient integration with their existing TMS software," added Glick.

Kontainers operates as a software-as-a-service company with offices in the United Kingdom, United States and China

Kontainers CEO Graham Parker said, "We are delighted to become a part of the Chain.io network, a best-in-class tool bringing together an incredible group of forward-thinking freight brands. We see many synergies especially as we expand our US footprint."
