Kontainers offers Essentials e-commerce solution to smaller freight forwarders

July 12, 2019: E-Commerce software provider for global freight brands Kontainers has launched Kontainers Essentials to cater to smaller freight forwarders. The third product from the Kontainers stable in the last three years aims to democratise e-commerce capabilities for small freight forwarders globally with their own-branded, customer-facing SaaS (Software as a Service) solution.
Essentials is built to cater to smaller freight forwarders and enables them to immediately compete with new digital first market forwarding entrants.
Smaller freight and logistics brands can access a cutting-edge, own-branded e-commerce solution and maximise their move online. Essentials also provides the opportunity to open up new revenue streams and acquire and retain clients. The first of the Essentials Alpha cohort will be on-boarded on the September 30, 2019.

Freight forwarders can employ Essentials own-branded solutions with an all-inclusive and transparent transaction charge starting at $10 per FCL and sliding. Kontainers will offer Essentials clients all upgrades free of charge (including for example, Air).
Among the bigger names in the freight forwarding industry, Kontainers counts Maersk Line, Toll Global Forwarding and other household names as customers.
