Allcargo Gati (formerly Gati) has appointed Uday Sharma as chief commercial officer of Gati Express and Supply Chain (GESCPL), a material subsidiary of the company.

In this role, Uday will develop marketing and business strategies and implement plans to boost revenue growth. He will also be leading the process of formulating a strong branding strategy of Allcargo Gati. Uday will report to Pirojshaw (Phil) Sarkari, managing director and chief executive officer, Gati Express and Supply Chain (GESCPL).

Uday brings with him more than two decades of cross-functional experience in business development, organisational turn-around, franchise development, strategic planning, large enterprise value selling and complex deal management. Before joining Allcargo Gati, he worked with Delhivery as Head - Sales. He had also worked with Spoton Logistics, Safexpress, Aramex and Elbee India.
