Ekart announced that it has scaled operations and efforts to monetize supply chain has resulted in 8X growth over the last three years, “empowering brands and retailers to meet consumer demand using Ekart’s logistics capabilities for their supply chain needs.”

The company also reported that over the course of the last few years, its client base expanded by 10x (retail and D2C brands), whereas the industry has been growing by about 5-10 percent YoY.

With a daily capacity of over 6 million shipments, Ekart's last-mile network spans 98 percent of Indian postal codes, backed by 50+ million cubic feet of warehousing and a fleet of 7,000 trucks.

“These capabilities have enabled a 30 percent increase in Day-2 deliveries and a 40 percent expansion in zonal coverage for e-commerce brands in India,” reads the release.

It was in May 2022 that eKart Logistics, the supply chain arm of the Flipkart Group, announced that it would offer its end-to-end supply chain solutions (including logistics and warehousing) to brands, platforms and small and large businesses across the country.

Ekart was a key logistics partner for many large brands and businesses in the recent festive season such as Snapdeal, Roposo, Libas, Naaptol, Sassafras and HomeCentre.

Ekart has ventured beyond its core e-commerce services, with its recent foray into offering comprehensive document delivery solutions for both financial institutions such as banks and non-banking institutions. This capability to handle both secured and unsecured documents not only diversifies Ekart's capabilities but also contributes to a more integrated and resilient logistics network by ensuring reliable document transportation across sectors.

Mani Bhushan, Chief Business Officer, Ekart, said, "Our growth story is not just about numbers but the value we create for brands and consumers. Ekart's capabilities reflect the immense potential of India’s logistics industry, and we are proud to contribute to its evolution. We remain committed to developing industry-first technologies and supply chain innovations, with a focus on driving efficiency and scalability. At Ekart, we believe our deep understanding of overall supply chains and relentless pursuit of efficiency is a key differentiator and enabler for the brands that we serve as well as India’s logistics ecosystem as a whole. Ekart has become a reliable option for brands looking to unlock supply chain value to scale their topline via extended reach and speed and improve profitability through efficiency and lesser handshakes by working with one trusted partner for end-to-end solutions.”

Ekart’s end-to-end services, including last-mile deliveries, partial truckload (PTL) and full truckload (FTL) movements, and refurbishment, have led 25 percent of partners to adopt multiple solutions, optimizing their supply chain strategies.

“Today, more than 10 percent of the business can be attributed to E2E supply chain solutions, and Ekart has helped brands optimize their conversions by ~3-4 percent and optimize supply chain costs by ~10-12 percent,” the release reads.
