Transport Corporation of India (TCI), a leading integrated multimodal logistics and supply chain solutions provider, announced its integration with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

It is the first B2B logistics player in the country to go live on the network, says an official release. "TCI is gearing to launch its new suite of services on the network, a step to revolutionise the logistics sector with cutting-edge technology and seamless connectivity."

ONDC, a government-backed initiative, aims to democratise digital commerce by enabling an open and inclusive digital network for both buyers and sellers, the release added. By joining ONDC, TCI will offer services to businesses of all sizes, ensuring a seamless end-to-end delivery experience.

“We are excited to join ONDC Network and contribute to building a more connected and accessible digital commerce ecosystem for B2B logistic services,” says Vineet Agarwal, Managing Director, Transport Corporation of India. “By leveraging our vast national network of 1,400 own branches and 15 million. sq. ft. warehousing space, our B2B logistics services on ONDC will not only enhance the delivery experience for businesses but also streamline supply chain operations, reduce costs, and improve market reach, especially for the MSME sector.”

TCI’s integration on ONDC was facilitated by ENS Enterprises, a company with expertise in digital commerce technology, connecting its clients to digital marketplaces, the release added.
