LOT Polish Airlines uplifts record 53T on B789 Dreamliner from Delhi

October 21, 2020: LOT Polish Airlines uplifted its highest freight load of 53,534 kilograms on a cargo-only Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner from Delhi International Airport to Warsaw Chopin Airport in Poland on October 18, superseding the last record of 47,167 kilograms uplifted on October 11.

October 21, 2020: LOT Polish Airlines uplifted its highest freight load of 53,534 kilograms on a cargo-only Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner from Delhi International Airport to Warsaw Chopin Airport in Poland on October 18, superseding the last record of 47,167 kilograms uplifted on October 11.

Group Concorde is the General Sales & Service Agent (GSSA) for the flag carrier of Poland in India. “It had lots of automobile parts as well as pharmaceutical goods of shippers around the national capital region which made the single flight heavy,” said Prithviraj Singh Chug, director, Group Concorde.

The freight occupied the belly space, on-seats as well as overhead bins of the aircraft for maximum utilisation of space. The airline is operating twice weekly cargo-only flights from Delhi since May 2020 using the same B787 back to back.
