Maersk names Christopher Cook as MD for India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka
In his new role, Cook will lead Maersk’s commercial organisation in the geography
Maersk has appointed Christopher Cook as its new Managing Director for India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka, effective October 1, 2024.
Cook has held several key leadership roles at Maersk, the most recent being his current role as the Managing Director of UAE, Oman and Qatar. In his new role, Cook will lead Maersk’s commercial organisation in the geography, says an official press release from Maersk.
Richard Morgan, Managing Director, Indian Subcontinent, Middle East, and Africa, Maersk says: “I am delighted to welcome Cook to his new role. He will take charge of one of our most important markets, and I am confident Cook's wealth of experience will contribute to our growth in the geography.”
