APM Terminals Pipavav Port sets a new record in vehicle logistics
By facilitating the unloading of 3,969 cars, APM Terminals Pipavav Port has achieved a new milestone.
APM Terminals Pipavav (GPPL) has set a new benchmark in vehicle logistics by processing a record number of RoRo (Roll on – Roll off) rakes in a month. The terminal handled 40 NMG (Newly Modified Goods) rakes, successfully unloading 3,969 cars. This surpasses the prior record of 30 NMG rakes, which was achieved in March 2024.

One of India's leading gateway ports for containers, dry bulk cargoes, liquid bulk, and RoRo with good road connectivity to the country's northwest regions via rail and road network, APM Terminals Pipavav manages 1.35 million TEUs of container traffic annually along with four million metric tonnes of dry bulk, two million metric tonnes of liquid bulk and 250,000 passenger cars. This public-private partnership (PPP) port also claims to be the first to connect with the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC).
