Sichuan Airlines launches freighter service to India for the first time

December 6, 2019: Sichuan Airlines commenced their twice-a-week freighter aircraft operations to Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi on November 27, 2019.

This is the first-ever Indian cargo service of the airline which flies from Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province in northwest China.

December 6, 2019: Sichuan Airlines commenced their twice-a-week freighter aircraft operations to Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi on November 27, 2019.

This is the first-ever Indian cargo service of the airline which flies from Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province in northwest China.

The first flight was carrying 59 tonnes of electronic accessories, mechanical equipment, garments and cloth manufactured in northern and southwestern China. Sichuan Airlines will be soon launching the freighter services to Chennai and Mumbai from Xi’an.

Sichuan Airlines was established in 1986 launched operations in 1988. The airline now operates more than 160 aircraft in China, flying to more than 300 domestic and international destinations. The network covers Asia, Europe, Oceania, North America and Africa.
