Three of six-men-gang behind 12 fake logistics firms busted in Agra
August 6, 2020: The Uttar Pradesh police arrested three of a six men gang in Agra who listed 12 different fake logistics firms in OLX, Justdial and e-trucks offering freight services and looted more than 1.5 crore from at least 100 people from different parts of the country
Giraj Sharma, who had ordered 16T of onion from Maharashtra and Praveen Agrawal, who had placed order to move iron bars from Morena to Aligarh due to cheap cost lost Rs 50k and Rs 12k respectively
August 6, 2020: The Uttar Pradesh police arrested three of a six men gang in Agra who listed 12 different fake logistics firms in OLX, Justdial and e-trucks offering freight services and looted more than 1.5 crore from at least 100 people from different parts of the country.
Prince Enterprise, Yuvraj Road Lines, Movement Logistic, Sahaj Enterprise, UN Indian export, Shri Ambe Transport, Shriam Dev Transport Company, Kapil Sharma Traders, SVMR Logistic Private Limited, Shiva Enterprises and Movers, NPR Enterprises and Bindal Transoultion Private Limited were the fake firms listed by the busted Kishan Singh (28), Deepak Tomar (27), Atul Singh (24) along with the absconding Akhilesh Singh, Amit and Govind.
“Giraj Sharma, who had ordered 16 tonnes of onion from Maharashtra and Praveen Agrawal, who had placed transportation booking for iron bars from Morena to Aligarh due to cheap cost on the fake listed transportation firms. The gang duped the duo for Rs 50,000 and Rs 12,000 respectively”, reports The Times of India.
