United Cargo moves first shipment of ventilators from Chicago to Delhi

April 30, 2021: United Cargo on Wednesday helped facilitate the first shipment of ventilators donated by the US-India Chamber of Commerce DFW, to the Indian Red Cross from Chicago to Delhi on flight UA898.

The US India Chamber of Commerce (USICOC) Foundation and its partner organisations are shipping 50 ventilators to India, besides other medical supplies.

April 30, 2021: United Cargo on Wednesday helped facilitate the first shipment of ventilators donated by the US-India Chamber of Commerce DFW, to the Indian Red Cross from Chicago to Delhi on flight UA898.

"This is the first of several efforts United will be taking to support India during this time of great need, reads the statement.

The US India Chamber of Commerce (USICOC) Foundation and its partner organisations are shipping 50 ventilators to India, besides other medical supplies. The foundation made arrangements to ship 20 ventilators. It will send 30 more in the next few days.

These ventilators will be released to the Indian Red Cross Society in New Delhi for distribution to hospitals and field teams in hard-hit areas.

The USICOC Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded by members of the US India Chamber of Commerce in 2008 to support community initiatives throughout North Texas and to support projects in India that are aligned with the foundation's initiatives.
