Vistara deploys brand-new B 787-9 Dreamliner to fight Covid-19
April 23, 2020: The Indian airline, Vistara deployed its brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to lift critical medical supplies in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
April 23, 2020: The Indian airline, Vistara deployed its brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to lift critical medical supplies in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic. Started operating on April 19 between Delhi and Mumbai, the aircraft is also flying to Chennai and Kolkata.
Vistara is the only carrier using its wide-body aircraft, besides Air India, to transport critical medical supplies. The airline unveiled its first-ever widebody aircraft on March 2, which arrived in Delhi on February 29 from Boeing’s production facility in Everett, Washington. The first commercial service of this aircraft took off from Delhi International Airport on March 19 to Mumbai International Airport.
