Locus saves 1.84 crore trees in 2020 by enabling green logistics

According to the International Energy Association, transportation is responsible for 24 percent of direct CO2 emissions from fuel combustion.

April 7, 2021: Locus today announced that, in 2020 alone, it has helped save around 1.32 crore CO2 emissions (kg) and 33.2 lakh NO2 emissions or, in other words, they have saved around 1.84 crore trees by enabling green logistics and contributing significantly towards it. 

Additionally, with their Electronic Proof of Delivery (E-PoD), they have eliminated the use of paper resulting in saving around 7778 trees. 

According to the International Energy Association, transportation is responsible for 24 percent of direct CO2 emissions from fuel combustion. Road vehicles – cars, trucks, buses and two- and three-wheelers – account for nearly three-quarters of transport CO2 emissions.
