ONE announces new Indian Ocean Express service
Transshipment service via Colombo would cater to the shipping needs of customers from East India and Bangladesh.
Ocean Network Express (ONE) announced the launch of the new Indian Ocean Express service (IOX). connecting India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan with the North Europe region offering customers expanded service coverage.
Additionally, the transshipment service via Colombo would cater to the shipping needs of customers from East India and Bangladesh, says an official release.
"The inaugural voyage from Nhava Sheva to North Europe will commence with:
Hyundai Oakland/V133W (ETA Karachi: February 5, 2025)
Hyundai Oakland/V133E (ETA London Gateway: March 16, 2025)
As the service will be routed via Cape of Good Hope, the following will be the service rotation:
*Karachi - Hazira – Mundra – Nhava Sheva – Colombo – London Gateway - Rotterdam - Hamburg – Antwerp - Karachi."
ONE had earlier this month announced the details of the inaugural sailings for Premier Alliance services across the Asia-Europe, Transpacific, and Asia-Middle East main trade lanes. Premier Alliance includes ONE, HMM and Yang Ming.
