DHL maintains 2024 outlook, Q1 revenue flat at €20.3 billion

Operating profit of €1.3 billion was below the previous year’s level (Q12023: €1.6 billion) but exceeded the same period of the pre-pandemic year 2019 (Q12019: €1.2 billion).

Express revenue declined 4% to €6 billion and EBIT was down 30% at €632 million. Global Forwarding, Freight revenue declined 15% to €4.6 billion and EBIT was down 32% at €263 million on lower freight rates. The e-commerce division maintained its revenue growth trend, up 8% at €1.6 billion but EBIT was down 26% at €60 million.
