Robert Van de Weg joins ECS Group as chief commercial officer

October 7, 2019: Total Cargo Management (TCM) expert Robert Van de Weg has joined ECS Group as chief commercial officer (CCO).

Weg comes with skill and experience from having worked previously at KLM Cargo, Atlas Air, Cargolux and, most recently, as VP sales & marketing for Volga Dnepr Group, which includes AirBridgeCargo.

Already a TCM expert, ECS Group is continuing its transformation with a total break from the traditional GSA model. Sales teams – who were already well equipped thanks to existing investment in the group’s digital transition – are trained and fully capable of bringing about this change.
