Coronavirus: India imposes one-week ban for all international passenger aircraft from March 22

March 20, 2020: In an additional advisory issued by the central government, India has banned all international passenger aircraft from landing in the country for one week starting from March 22, 2020.

20 hours of maximum time is allowed for international commercial passenger aircraft to land in the country. But aircraft will not be permitted to disembark passengers after 8 pm on 22 March.

March 20, 2020: In an additional advisory issued by the central government, India has banned all international passenger aircraft from landing in the country for one week starting from March 22, 2020.

“No scheduled international commercial passenger aircraft shall be allowed to land in India from March 22, 2020, for one week,” says the pib release.

Meanwhile Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) informed that 20 hours of maximum time is allowed for international commercial passenger aircraft to land in the country. But aircraft will not be permitted to disembark passengers after 8 pm on 22 March which include both Indians and foreigners.
