House of Anita Dongre to partner with Unicommerce for warehouse & e-commerce management solutions

5 October, 2018: Unicommerce, a leading player in e-commerce enablement software for warehouse management and omni channel services, has been selected as the exclusive partner by the House of Anita Dongre for managing its warehouse and e-commerce operations across its leading brands – AND & Global Desi.  With this partnership, Unicommerce will enable the fashion house to manage its products, inventories and deliveries across 12+ marketplaces.

At present, the signature brands AND and Global Desi are retailed through 515 points of sales, including 122 exclusive stores and 350 established multi-brand lifestyle formats, such as Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle, Central etc. The partnership aims to enable House of Anita Dongre to enhance its operational capabilities like managing inventory, warehousing, last mile delivery and, thereby, offer shoppers a seamless online experience.

“We are happy to partner with Unicommerce as our end-to-end e-commerce management solution provider. Unicommerce has been a key component in managing our online operations. We wouldn’t have been able to manage the increased scale of orders with so much of ease without Unicommerce,” said Dipankar Sikdar, deputy general manager e-commerce, House of Anita Dongre.

In May 2018, Unicommerce entered into an agreement with Infibeam Avenues Limited (formerly known as Infibeam Incorporation Limited) to be acquired for up to Rs 1,200 million. The deal is expected to be closed by October 2018 subject to due diligence and relevant approvals.
