MoFPI grievance cell solves 174 out of 348 logistics issues of food processing firms

April 6, 2020: Harsimrat Kaur Badal, union minister of food processing industries (MoFPI), announced that the task force on-job in the grievance cell has resolved 50 percent of all 348 queries regarding the supply chain and logistics issues of food processing companies.
The FPI minister was holding her 2nd video conference with Industry associations including FICCI, CII, ASSOCHAM and PHDCCI on April 4, 2020.

The industry raised concerns such as the need for labourers to return; they further suggested that special trains may be needed for that; industry further raised the issue of immediate liquidity crunch and that working capital was needed to the procurement of agri-produce; there was concern regarding operations in the North-East region.
